Nice comfy base for 1 night with very amiable staff who were drinking on shift. Spotlessly clean building, excellent and unbeatable location so close to local amenities as well as a cafe serving breakfast for the following day.  

Greatly enjoyed the place, had a fabulous stay for 1 night. The food was reasonably priced with a wide range of alternatives. The hotel's location was super, close to the centre of Barnard Castle, and excellent real ale was

Single room with shared bathroom, had essentials required. The price was £ 46. The hotel's location was central, in the pub or pm.

The hotel was immaculately clean and offered fair prices. The staff was attentive, exceptionally welcoming. I got a modern and newly remodelled room with shared bathroom. Its location was magnificent, to a cafe serving breakfast for the following day. 

Stayed here before, and I would return there. I truly enjoyed the hotel, it was exceptionally clean with great and lovely staff who were drinking on shift. The restaurant had amazing food.

Location just next door to the garden, and the centre of Barnard Castle. A nice size and newly remodelled room with shared bathroom and with a lot of space.

The location is amazing and magnificent, it is close to a main street and a castle.

It has both affable and efficient staff. There is a lot of fantastic food for breakfast.

Freshly decorated unit with shared bathroom. Very central location to a cafe serving breakfast for the following day. Also - near town centre and bus stop, the pub, which was lively and central Barnard
